Oracle Student Spotlight Is Shining On Keziah Shallowhorn

Every week here at Oracle we look to Spotlight a student who is doing great things in and outside the classroom, leaving an impact on their peers and or teachers. This student has risen to the occasion in many perspectives and embodies what it means to be a Pheonix!

This week spotlight is on Senior, Keziah Shallowhorn

Keziah Shallowhorn is a Senior at Oracle Charter school and extremely talented. Ms. Shallowhorn is on the cheerleading team and school choir and most recently lead a solo during our school holiday concert.

When we sat down with Ms. Shallowhorn we asked her why do you like to sing? She shared “It gives me a way to express myself without having to speak. The beauty of music is that you have the ability to paint your own picture with sounds and vibrations.” Ms. Shollowhorn is truly gifted and talented with a beautiful voice. In addition to being apart of the school’s choir, she participates in her after school BCAT.

BCAT stands for Buffalo Center for Arts and Technology. She participates in Hip Hop and Photography and also plays the Bass and Guitar. She has been apart of BCAT since Freshman year at Oracle Charter school and looks forward to finishing out her program this summer.

When we asked Ms. Shallowhorn what are her plans after graduation she shared ” I plan to study music at one of the schools I applied for which are Fredonia College, Buffalo State College, and Georgia State University”
