Oracle Charter School will hold Open House, Saturday, March 10th

Buffalo, NY—John Ashwood, Head of School at Oracle Charter School, is pleased to announce that the school will host its annual Open House on Saturday, March 10, 2012, between 10:00 a.m. – Noon. Oracle Charter School is located at 888 Delaware Avenue, near Children's Hospital.

Open House attendees will have the opportunity to meet Oracle’s faculty and staff; tour the school; learn about the school’s academic curriculum, arts, sports, clubs, and extra-curricular programs; and pick up an application. Any interested parent or guardian, who is unable to attend the Open House, should call the school at 362-3188 for information and an application for the 2012-2013 school year. Charter schools are required to enroll students through a blind lottery. Completed applications for the 2012-2013 school year can be submitted to Oracle at any time prior to the lottery, but should be received by April 2, 2012. After that date, applications will be accepted in order received for any openings not filled by the lottery.

Oracle Charter School is located at 888 Delaware Avenue in a turn-of-the-century, E. B. Green-designed mansion. The school has a total enrollment of approximately 350 students in grades 9-12. More than 50 faculty and staff are employed at the school. Class sizes are 22 students or fewer.
